I create pocket galaxy meditation spheres from borosilicate glass and precious metals using the ancient art of flameworking. I then cold-work and flamework select pieces to reveal hidden whirlpools, solar systems, and galaxies. I utilize opals for planets and moons, and multiple layers of precious metal foils, fumes and powders to create nebulas and star nurseries. Multiple celestial scenes are revealed as each piece is rotated.

In this age of mass-produced sameness, I seek to create “one-of-a-kind” treasures to help remind people of their individuality and uniqueness, as well as to give them a personal bit of reflective/calming space to carry with them. At the same time, I work hard to keep my work affordable to so that not just the elite can afford them.
