How much does it cost to attend the festival?
Adult admission is $10 for admission to both days of the Fair. Students under 18 are free!

What is new at the festival this year?
Against a backdrop of the beautiful Guadalupe River, over 5,000 visitors are expected to enjoy the official Texas State Arts and Craft Fair Sept. 23-24, 2023. The new Texas Arts and Crafts Fair will have over 120 artists, musicians and demonstrators, plus gourmet food, craft beer, live music, activities and art demonstrations for all ages. How can I participate as an artist?
Please visit the artist page to find out more information on becoming an artist vendor.

Can I bring my dog to the festival?
We welcome well-behaved dogs on a leash.

What activities will you have for children?
Texas Arts and Crafts Fair is a family-friendly event and has activities for all ages.  Families can visit the Arts Exploration Zone to participate in a variety of fun activities. Kids and adults also will be treated to interactive demonstrations by artists and crafters, including the Fredericksburg Spinning Guild, Doug Garey’s blacksmithing and ceramics by Mark Jackson. Also, Doug Baum and the Texas Camel Corps will provide historical fun.

Can my band perform at the fair?
There will be multiple venues for musicians and other performers at the fair. If your group wants to perform, please email us at fair@hcaf.com or contact the fair office at 830-367-5121.

What if it rains?
Texas Arts and Crafts Fair will take place sprinkle or shine.

What food and beverages are available?  Can I bring my own?
There will be a variety of delicious food and beverage options available for sale throughout the festival, including beer and wine for those 21 years of age.  No outside food or beverages are allowed.

Can my business rent a booth?
If you are a food vendor, there are a limited number of opportunities available. All other booth opportunities and activities are provided by sponsors of the festival.

Can other organizations rent a food booth?
Yes! There are a limited number of opportunities available for school, church or civic organizations to rent a food or beverage booth. Please email us at fair@hcaf.com or 830-367-5121 for more information. You can check out the application here. All other booth opportunities and activities are provided by sponsors of the festival. 

What are the lodging options?

Ingram and the greater Kerr County area offer many lodging options, from hotels and motels to B & B’s, RV parks and state park campgrounds. Is the festival wheelchair accessible?
Yes, each area of the festival is accessible.

Who benefits from The Texas Arts and Craft Fair?
This is a one-of-a-kind art festival in the State of Texas and raises awareness as well as critical funding for the Hill Country Arts Foundation. Through sponsorships, we provide a venue for Texas artisans. This event funds vital arts programs that educate enrich, enlighten the community through the arts.

All of the proceeds from the Texas Arts and Crafts Fair benefit The Hill Country Arts Foundation, a 501 (c)(3) organization that educates, enlightens and enriches members of the community through the arts.

How can I support The Texas Arts and Craft Fair?

History

Hill Country Arts Foundation is a center for the visual and performing arts that was established in 1959. A group of artists established HCAF to enrich, educate and enlighten members of the community through the arts. The HCAF relaunched the Texas Arts and Crafts Fair on its 13-acre campus in 2018.
