Trained as a fine art photographer, Jennifer McNichols spent a decade in the art world, working with negative film and hand-printing in black-and-white and color using traditional photo chemistry. In 2020, she turned her compositional eye to found art. Working with her partner Jeremiah, she developed techniques and processes to reframe the vibrant graphics on aluminum beverage cans and combine them with new materials to create colorful, lightweight, and sustainable earrings.
