My artwork reflects my interest in fantasy storytelling, color, childhood, psychology, nature, and humor. I love to experiment with new media and techniques and have tried just about everything, but it seems I keep returning to the challenge of capturing a likeness through realism in vibrant paint and pencil. Although I have a more serious moody introspective side to my art, I also take great joy in creating light and humorous illustrations geared towards the young at heart. After a decade of focusing on raising children I am now getting my art business off the ground, exploring more with my style and focus on the direction I want to take my talents, skills and experiences and am so excited to see where I end up!
