I primarily use sheets of transparent and opaque fusible glass to create glass art vessels, wall art and some functional pieces. I like to use dichroic, iridized glass as well as crushed glass (from pebbles to powder) as accents or to create sparkle and depth. I melt the glass in a kiln (sometimes multiple times), cold-work as necessary and then place the glass back in the kiln for it’s final shaping. My work continues to grow and change. There are so many techniques left to learn and “what if I do this” scenarios left to try that I don’t think my learning will never be finished.
