I’m a self taught welder and artist. My pieces are all made using salvaged steel that I hand pick at local salvage yards. I take my inspiration from the metal shapes and colors in them usual working from the head down. My abstracts are given a hand ground finish that is allowed to shine through translucent powder coat. The pieces are cut to random length then hand formed and mig-welded. Finishes used vary from three coats of powder coat on the abstracts works with clear acrylic on others.
