A technique I call concrete couture entails saturating clothing in a proprietary blend of concrete, then draping it over a armature that is then removed. Many more thin coats of the bled are added and sanded between coats. The piece is then stained and sealed. The pieces are extremely light and durable. This technique was developed after loosing my son, and it is an expression of the hollowness I feel with his loss. I have been playing in the mud for over ten years, developing new techniques often.
