We are creative beings, and it’s vital that we find our way of expression, and surround ourselves with beauty, which is why I make pots in my backyard studio. Both wheel throwing wheel and hand building appeal to me. I especially enjoy dipping the rich brown clay in white slip and carving patterns. Many of my designs are based on old embroidery patters, which bring a lovely continuity of women’s labor through the centuries to my pieces. I hope to inspire joy and delight with my work.
