Sculpture

My entries represent the forgotten characters in the decorative arts, with names that have become pejorative: blackamoor or Chinaman. It also includes characters that populate wallpaper and fabric designs. My desire is to recreate these personages with the dignity that they deserve. My degrees in Art History fuel my research and inspiration, and my Hispanic roots are evident in my love of color.
